Helen Fox

Actor, Writer, Youth Producer, Workshop Director, Creative Designer
Helen trained as an actress and then as a psychologist, she returned to acting and started writing in 2014. Since then she has produced 4 of her plays and is working on several new works for production in the coming 18 months. Along with Acting and writing, Helen runs the youth company and designs for the company’s productions- concepts, staging and technical design.

Codge Crawford

Actor, Workshop Director, Writer, Set Construction
Born in 1967, educated in Castle Douglas, Codge left school to join the army. He served for 4 years after which he left and became a fiberglass laminator. He has his own business in laminating anything from rooves to Sharks.
Having always been a singer, Codge began performing in musicals and after 7 years transitioned to theatre. Since then he performed in over 25 plays.
Along with Helen, Codge founded Fox and Hound Theatre Company in 2015. He is currently writing work which will be performed as part of the company’s repertoire.

Dave Mattison

Dave was born and educated in Birmingham, with Jamaican and Welsh parentage. As the fifth child of thirteen, Dave’s childhood was full of fun, noise and social interaction. Dave is married with 2 daughters, 4 grandsons and 1 grand-daughter, making sure any spare time he has is fully utilised!
Work experience started as an apprentice tool-maker, moving into manufacturing and senior management, before embarking on sales and marketing. Semi-retirement 2 years ago led to the formation of his own consultancy company Galloway Concepts, working on a wide range of projects, with customers and friends, old and new.
Outside of work, Dave has a vast array of interests including football, golf, cycling, walking and has been in bands playing bass guitar. He was also the sound engineer for jazz vocalist Madison on gigs and in studio.
A keen fundraiser, Dave has organised social events as part of his Golf Captaincy, acting as MC and host on numerous functions throughout the year. He has also undertaken many physical challenges in aid of charity including Ben Nevis, West Highland Way, Great Glencoe Challenge and the Galloway ReCycle Sportive.
Having relocated to Scotland from the Midlands in 2008, Dave is working hard on learning the lingo and is looking forward to assisting Fox and Hound Theatre Company further develop in the coming months.
